Inspired Education Group’s Reddam House uMhlanga school in KwaZulu-Natal achieved a brilliant 100% pass rate for the fifth consecutive year.

Our Reddam House uMhlanga matriculants who wrote their Independent Examinations Board examinations this year achieved an excellent average of three distinctions per candidate. 70% of the group attained a B-aggregate or higher with five rankings in the top 1% and 41 rankings in the top 5% of all IEB candidates per subject nationally. The 2021 matric group achieved an outstanding 74.03% overall group average. This is particularly impressive as this was the second year of disruptive learning and the best overall average that this fledgling school has yet achieved. Shrien Naidoo obtained eight distinctions, including distinctions in Life Orientation, Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, Life Sciences, Accounting, Physical Sciences and Advanced Programme Mathematics. Yo-Jen Chen obtained seven distinctions, including distinctions in Life Orientation, Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, Engineering Graphics & Design, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. Simone Ephraim obtained seven distinctions, including distinctions in Life Orientation, Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, Music, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. Brogan Rolfe obtained seven distinctions, including distinctions in Life Orientation, Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, Music, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. Erin Webb obtained seven distinctions, including distinctions in Life Orientation, Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, Business Studies, Dramatic Arts and History.
National Results at Reddam House Schools
Overall, the seven Reddam House Schools in three provinces in South Africa delivered excellent results with 254 students achieving a B-aggregate or higher.
Five Reddam House matriculants did exceptionally well in achieving eight distinctions each and a further 19 students achieved an impressive seven distinctions each.
In addition, the following results were achieved:
- 16 students achieved 6 distinctions each
- 27 students achieved 5 distinctions each
- 33 students achieved 4 distinctions each
Reddam House students obtained a total of 30 rankings in the top 1% and 209 rankings in the top 5% of IEB candidates per subject nationally.
IEB Outstanding Achievement List: Erin Fischer (Constantia Campus) and JunHe Chen (Waterfall Campus) achieved a national ranking within the top 5% of all IEB students in six subjects or more.
IEB Commendable Achievement List: Robynne Stephenson (Constantia Campus) and Shalin Pather (Waterfall Campus) achieved a national ranking within the top 5% of all IEB students in 5 subjects.
